The Miami Heat fell 111-101 to the Boston Celtics in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Monday night at TD Garden. Tyler Herro led the Heat with 24 points, while Jimmy Butler added 22 points and 10 rebounds. Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 27 points, while Jaylen Brown added 24 points and Robert Williams III had 12 points and 14 rebounds.
The Heat led by 10 points in the first half but the Celtics came back to take the lead in the third quarter. The Celtics led by as many as 13 points in the fourth quarter, but the Heat cut the lead to four points with two minutes remaining. The Celtics, however, made their free throws down the stretch to secure the win.
The series is now tied 1-1. Game 3 will be played on Thursday night in Miami.
